WHAT WILL THE FUTURE HOLD FOR CAREERS IN EDUCATION AND PUBLIC SERVICE?
In an era of declining public budgets, what will be the future workforce demand in education and public services in the Capital Region, and how should this demand be addressed?

FEATURED SPEAKER: ASSEMBLYMAN ROGER NIELLO

Niello has a unique perspective to address the future demand of public sector careers in the Sacramento region and their impact on the region's economy, serving as chair of the Assembly Budget Committee, Sacramento County Supervisor, chair of the Sacramento Metro Chamber and local business owner.

A panel of local and state officials will discuss workforce trends in their organizations and how education and workforce development partners should respond. Panelists include: Susan Peters, Sacramento County Supervisor and Vice Chair of the Sacramento Area Council of Governments; Nancy Aaberg, Superintendent of the Yuba City USD; Harold Levine, Dean of the UC Davis School of Education; and a representative from the State Personnel Board.
